Vance Jensen 11/26/08 5th period Letter to newspaper Dear Editor I believe that the subject of genocide should be brought up more in a newspaper because the people need to be aware of what is going on around the world. You need to get the people involved so they can take action and help prevent genocide from continuing. We all need to be involved and work on how we can all help in away to stop genocide from happening. We also need to stay in touch with what is going on in the outside world and see what is going on with genocide to see if people are trying to stop it or not. Everybody can get involved and help support all efforts in trying to stop this and keep it from happening ever again, but we first have to stand up and try. There is a lot of things that the community can do to help and stop genocide. There are a lot of people out there that are suffering and we have an opportunity to help stop the suffering, but first the people need to know and the best way to learn of it is through the newspaper. There are a lot of countries out there that do not want to do anything, so it is very important that we do what ever we can do to get the word out so people can get involved and help stop all this genocide. There are a lot of people out in the world suffering and there are a lot of people in the country that do not even know that genocide is going on so that is why it is so important that the newspaper gets involved so people who don’t know what is going to start learning and getting involved in what is going on. We have a lot of stuff we have to offer and there are a lot of people who have a lot that can do to help and they do not even know how to get started on helping. The newspaper is the best way to get the word out on how people can help and what they can do to offer any support. There are a lot of people who read the paper so that is why that genocide should be brought up in newspaper because it is a big source of what people use to learn about what is going in the world around them. The newspaper gives the people the opportunity to learn and choose for themselves if they want to help and give there time to this and help stop genocide. The newspaper can also tell people how they can help and what they can do to help all you have to do is start getting them involved. All I have to say now is that we need to take action and get the people involved and we can do that with the newspaper so you should start writing and getting the people informed.
